Meet “The Horticulturist” aka Sebastian Conrad

Being trained as a horticulturist and award winning garden fesigner in the enchanting England , Sebastian founded the blog “The Horticulturist” during his studies in 2017 to narrate earth honouring success stories featuring leading creatives and visionaries.

These stories are rooted in the broad field of global gardening and are growing beyond into all areas of earth honouring life.

Ever since then the blog has featured some of the leading voices in Horticulture such as garden photographer éva németh, renowned rosarian David Austin, Head Gardener Asa Gregers-Warg from the Beth Chatto Gardens as well as internationally recognised floral designers such as Katie Davis from Ponderosa and Thyme and Fiona Pickles from Firenza Flowers.

Sebastian is currently hunting new stories and inspirations to broaden the green world that is “The Horticulturist”.

With his studio HAUTE JARDIN he creates wild, contemporary gardens and captures the genius loci through his evocative garden-photography since 2020.
